A weekend outside
Nov. 7th, 2021 11:48 pmOnce again, I had a lovely weekend by being outside basically as much as possible. Both mornings were a bit drab, low-energy, doing necessary life maintenance in the apartment. Each afternoon, though, I got out and on a bike, met up with people and enjoyed the autumn city.
Best Thing Sat Nov 6: I had a fantastic afternoon and evening with EM. I rode Citibike across the Brooklyn Bridge’s new bike lane, then walked all along Battery Park and the Hudson parks. We rode a carousel, swung on swings, and sipped ginger tea on a roof deck.
Best Thing Sun Nov 7: I spent most of another day outside, visiting with friends. I went to Chilo’s with Tim and Lisa, then home briefly and to Park Sunset with a relative crowd, including one friend that I haven't seen since the pandemic. The sunset was unbelievable.
